soooooo it's been like only over a year since I logged on to IJ last time. wow. I can only excuse myself of about six months of it. And the rest is me being lazy and just... facebooking.
sooo anyway. doubt I'll hang here too much in the near future either since I'll be getting a puppy that will consume all my time and most definitely energy. It's doing it already since I have to basically clean the whole place from floor and every corner to the roof. or any height the little fellow might reach at any age.
so I got myself in a hyper bundle :D

Huge book exam went last Thursday and there was one wrongly formed question so it won't be graded which is good since I didn't know how to answer it. Turned out that I'd have known the answer anyway... Kind of a relief but still... annoying. Well, the second part't not until August so I have earned some lazying around time. I thought that I'd continue with the studies after midsummer which is only a week away. Suits me fine, though, since I really need to get these couple courses done.

At a perfect time my body decides to have the first symptoms since the antibiotics I had in February. Or was it late January? Anyway, I'm having a presentation in two days and I should finish the corresponding essay today. I have no idea how well I'll be able to speak in two days but do far I start coughing after two sentences. And I'm also running a fever though it's nothing much. Still enough to annoy me and make my mind slightly blurry so that the essay is going to be pain.
Oh, and it's not the influenza A (H1N1). Stupid Egyptians went and slaughtered all the pigs in their country even though they didn't even have any suspected cases... oh well. Mass Hysteria. You gotta love it. It works in zombie movies so it's bound to work irl.

I spent most of the weekend visiting mum. Well, it felt like a good idea and I did feel like I've forgotten something but I couldn't remember it so who cares anyway. I remembered it on Sunday around 10 pm. I have an exam on Wednesday morning. Oh well, shit happens and so fort. Too late to cry when it has hit the fan.
But I had fun and a great time. Pop was also super excited about my visit and she went all crazy since I took her out several times for about two hours each time. Okay, twice for two hours and once for about an hour on Saturday and on Sunday morning she was out maybe and hour but her ears got so ichy that I had to take her indoors. Stupid pollen and darn that there's no antihistamine for dogs.
I took out the saw, bill hook and scissors for cutting bushes and went after... well, willows mostly and made a lot of plans where everywhere I have to cut some trees and bushes. My master plan was certain area which I didn't even get to. I guess I will just have to go back come next weekend. Or maybe on Thursday/Friday for a day. I try to motivate myself to study for the exam today and tomorrow and after that I planned to go shopping on Wednesday. The skirt/dress season opening is in one boutique all week so I try to make my way there (20 % off all normal prized products, not just the dresses!). I don't really need new clothes (except new jeans soon when the ones I'm wearing wear completely out) and even less dresses since I never where them. But maybe I would if I had a really nice one. Oh well... no need to be extremely feminine or anything. And I don't even have a job for the summer since I turned down the one I already got. It was just too shitty. Shitty pay and hours. Only super plus was that it would've been only five blocks away. Argh! I can't believe that thing is still haunting me like this. I'm completely at peace with myself for not taking it. There'll be something else. If nothing else works, I'll call the place I was last summer. It's not much and the pay isn't really better and it's in another city but I can at least dictate my own working hours.
It's been really sunny lately except for the random blizzard on Saturday morning which came and went in about an hour. But it reminded me that I really need to get new sunglasses. Really.

Oh yeah, after midday things started to pop and frizzle. I received a call from one of the places where I applied for a job for summer and I have an interview tomorrow. The place is just around the corner so that's a big plus but the working hours may turn nasty. So I had to hurry to get copies of my school reports (since for some reason I've only been carrying around my past work diplomas. things. whatever.) so I called mum and made it to the bus that left in half an hour. So I got the copies, dogs got all crazy and wheeeee!, yes that is a very good way to describe it. There was pancakes. Brother gave me a lift to the station and most of the way we talked about computers, old ones mostly. I'm jealous that at his campus they have pretty much only linux/unix computers instead of XP like at my campus. Though the day they swap it for Vista, I die. I also spotted in the e-mail an excursion to a hospital lab coming up next week. I want to be there!!! But they only take 15 first... :/ Don't know how good my chances are there. Adventure tiamz!!

I made a longer post in LJ, but I want to add this:
- Hippo is not my dog but she obviously needed some more attention after the tooth surgery
- she was very adorable in many ways today and last night but still somewhat bitchy about the whole thing (probably mostly pain?)
- This kind of spring days are the best and I could've spent the whole day outdoors just being there. Present in the moment.
- Nekku is still a total chocolate/sweet stuff piggy and she rules the kitchen during cooking and especially baking
- There was a lot of talk about the world, politics, how to make the society a better place etc. as usual and it went quite smoothly
- Brother made an appearence (for food)

My brain's in overdrive. I'm doing all sorts of things that involve thinking and doing. I'm rewriting my CV since the one I wrote last year is total crap. I'm reading (mostly sad and mad and bad) news. I'm changing my view on the world. I'll definitely not be able to wake up tomorrow morning and go have a try at the exam... I could go cook something.

Heh... yeah, kinda lame. Nothing in particular happened today. One lecture early in the morning... I've been thinking since noon that I should have a nap... but soon it's too late and I have to make it till 10 pm or so. Then I can sleep the entire night.
I spotted yet another Friday the 13th -movie review in the online newspaper I read. It's a remake of one of the early ones, or so it said. The 12th Friday the 13th movie made, so I wonder what they make next... or what kind of idea they use for the movie... the 13th Friday the 13th... *sigh*
Nothing much happening, obviously. Oh, wait! There was some kind of plane crash in the USA and about 50 people died. There was also a suicide bomber in Iran (if I remember correctly). So all in all, the world's still the same. People keep dying. Not just in the movies with screaming bimbos with boobies.

I was going to post something funny that happened today but couldn't really come up with anything. So I'll go back to yesterday. My sister's dog was hilarious when she watched out of the window as my sister chopped about 20 kg of frozen meat into pieces. As my sister swung the axe, the dog started to breathe faster and faster until she had to stop for breath xD
She also started to whine as I was leaving. She usually just gives me murderous glances and tried to prevent me from packing by stuffing her toys on my bag or pushing her head from underneath my arm to get attention. As usual, Pop completely ignored me as I left. The poor little diva.

Today I didn't really achieve anything. Yet again. But It was well-waisted time anyway. I found some fun stuff on the internet and realized how many movies and tv-series I have forgotten... I also played with some photos on my computer and made a couple doggy avatars of them. And obviously put them here as well. Also found some other icons that I had long forgotten. Didn't put them all here.
Stress is really starting to get to me again. A stress that won't go away before mid December. *sigh*

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
Had the most fun (and exhausting) day playing with dogs and doign all sorts of good ol' stuffs (including felling trees, I ROCK!!!)
I'm still amazingly HAPPY. Really. I've been smiling most of the day. I had so much fun. And it really helped me with the stress that's been building up after having a flu for a week...

The exam went better than expected. I think I'll actually pass.
Today I donated blood. I'm not feeling weird or woozy or bad yet but we'll see. There's still plenty hours left in this day.
I still have to call my boss about next week but she was in a meeting some 40 minutes ago so I'll try a little later.

Blah... I have summer exam on Thursday. The second course of biochemistry... all the biochemical cycles that keep us going. Like shit. Have I studied? You know the answer.
But - thanks to mushu - I got Colonization and Civilization (the first one) running on my computer (even more reasons not to grab that cursed bible of biochemists... Lehninger).
Also, there's not much point trying to study since the guys are having another MtG draft in the other room and despite the shut door, there's still a lot of noise. Also, for the reason that I have to keep the window open since it's so darn hot. RAIN PLZ!!!!
A friend recommended Mushishi manga to me today. I'll probably borrow some from her first before buying it myself. Sounded interesting, though.
